Dr. Kim
A graduate of the Dalhousie University dentistry program, and building on over three decades of experience in the field, Dr. Kim is passionate about providing patients with the very best that dentistry has to offer—whether it is a simple restoration, a complex full-mouth rehabilitation, or a complete smile makeover. He is committed to making each visit as pleasant as possible by emphasizing prevention, comfort, and individualized treatment in a warm and welcoming environment. Dr. Kim also utilizes specialized techniques that make freezing virtually pain-free.
He is dedicated to delivering enduring quality and excellence by incorporating the latest techniques and technologies into his practice. Dr. Kim is one of only a handful of dentists who extensively use Microscope-Assisted Dentistry across all areas of dental care.
Dr. Kim is also deeply committed to overall health and vitality and has extensive training in injectables and dermal fillers, including Level III certification from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Whatever your needs may be, Dr. Kim offers thoughtful, personalized solutions tailored to each patient.
Outside of the office, and beyond his dedication to his family, Dr. Kim enjoys sports, music, and travel. He is an avid aviator, holds a private pilot’s license, and enjoys navigating the skies in his Twin Cessna.
Dr. Kim is also passionate about giving back to the community and is a strong supporter of various charitable organizations, both locally and internationally.

Having been so blessed over the years with the privilege of looking after the dental needs of a wonderful family of patients, Dr. Kim is passionate about giving to those in need and is challenged to do more for his community. He is a strong supporter of Compassion Canada, Food for the Hungry and a number of local charities.
Dr. Kim is closely affiliated with the Brant Community Foundation, an organization that supports numerous charities throughout Brant Community. Through this foundation, Dr. Kim established the Dr. Stephen Chul Kim Fund, which has brought a positive impact to local needs of the community. Dr. Kim is also closely affiliated with the Brant Community Healthcare Systems Foundation, an organization tasked with fundraising for the needs of the local hospitals. Dr. Kim’s goal is to support the quality of health care for the local community by assisting the foundation in the purchase of much needed medical equipment for the Brantford General Hospital.

Intraoral Camera
An intraoral camera is a small device at the end of a wand that allows us to get an up-close look at every part of your mouth. The images are viewed on a large monitor, letting us to assess the condition of your mouth and teeth and helping us spot potential problems before they arise. Using this information, we can design far more highly targeted and specific treatment plans.
High Resolution digital photo imaging:
With our Sony 4K digital camera incorporated into the Zeiss Dental Microscope even the minutest details can now be visualized in crystal clear clarity on our large Ultra High Definition monitor. This allows problems that were previously difficult to see be visualized clearly, enhancing our diagnosis and communication. 4K video recording allows us to archive your data in high resolution.
Digital X-rays:
By using computer sensors, instead of traditional film, digital x-rays offer superior diagnostic capability. And with the ability to show the image on a large screen, patients can now see and understand problems better. More importantly it uses up to 80% less radiation, dramatically improving safety. Lastly, because there are no harsh chemicals needed for developing traditional film, it is environmentally friendly as well.
Fully Digitized and Paperless:
We are a paperless office. Because all work is computerized we can provide greater accuracy, efficiency and safety of your personal information. Our fast network and robust hardware allow us to manage all your information, from medical records, digital x-rays to digital photos quickly and efficiently. And because all information is digitized, sending your diagnostic information to others such as specialists is a snap via email. And electronic data submission to your insurance company makes receiving your reimbursement lightning fast.
