Your first visit is approximately sixty minutes, giving our team the time needed to properly understand your dental history and current oral health, without rushing.

A thorough exam. Dr. Kim will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your teeth, gums, and bite, including digital x rays as needed and a screening for early signs of decay or gum disease.

A conversation, not a lecture. We will walk you through what we find in plain language, answer your questions, and discuss any recommendations clearly, so you always understand the why behind your care.

A personalized plan. If any treatment is needed, we will outline your options, timelines, and next steps together, so you leave with a clear picture of your care moving forward, not just a list of appointments.

While removing a damaged tooth might seem like a quicker option, keeping your natural tooth whenever possible generally supports better long term function, appearance, and overall oral health, and helps you avoid the additional cost and treatment involved in replacing a missing tooth later with a bridge or implant. Dr. Kim will always give you an honest recommendation based on whether your specific tooth can realistically be saved.

To help your first appointment run smoothly, we ask that you print and complete our New Patient and Medical History forms in advance. This gives Dr. Kim time to properly review your history ahead of your visit, so more of your appointment can be spent on your actual care.
